Fund Raising Evening for St. Mary's and St. Leonard's Churches, Masonic Hall, Wallingford
David Beasley, well known for his pictures and knowledge of Wallingford, has a brand new presentation which he will give at the evening which starts at 7 p.m. There will be bar and excellent hot supper cooked by the Friends of the churches. The photos and stories will reflect the changes in the town during the last century up to the end of the 39/45 war.

'Stepping Out', the Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot
The Black Box Theatre Company produces this wonderful musical at 7.45pm. Tickets are available at Cornerstone box office 01235 515144. This follows a successful run at Shush in Wantage. One reviewer said it had been, ''A fantastic evening...the upbeat song and dance numbers had me tapping my feet.'' Black Box is a company of local performers.

‘BOOK SALE’ the Millstream Day Centre, Benson
The book sale will be held from 10am until 4pm. A fantastic range of books will be on sale as well as tea, coffee and light refreshments. The centre is completely self-funded so please come along and find the read you are looking for and contribute to an excellent cause.

Concert, St Helen's Church, Benson
It's given by Moonrakers, one of Oxfordshire's finest acoustic groups, featuring Celtic harp, fiddle, guitar, mandola, whistles and female/male vocals. Iron Lady (12A) (3rd-9th February: matinee 5th February 3.00pm) the much-acclaimed film reflecting on the life of Margaret Thatcher. The cinematic adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s book Warhorse(12A) is screening from 10th February-16th February (matinee 11th February 2.30pm) and tells the story of a young man who follows his horse, Joey, to the trenches of World War One. Another Earth (12A) (17th February) brings a science-fiction tale about an ambitious young student and an accomplished composer, who cross paths in a tragic accident after the discovery of a duplicate planet in the solar system. The month rounds off with The Deep Blue Sea (12A)(24th February: matinee 26th February 3.00pm) - this is a version of the romantic drama by Terence Rattigan, set in repressive post-war Britain where the frustrated wife of a Judge becomes disastrously involved with an RAF pilot.

To Celebrate International women’s day on 8th March 2012 Oxfam book and music shop have teamed up with Bloc Brazilian coffee shop in St, Mary’s street, Wallingford and The market place, Henley

St Patricks Day Charity Show in aid of Wantage, Counselling Service, the Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot
We present a wonderful variety show from some of the most entertaining performers from around the region. ‘Gay and Alan Cooper’ who shot to fame on hand bells in Britain’s Got Talent 2011. ‘NoteOrious Barbershop’, An a cappella quartet who were the 2008/9 Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers National Quartet Gold Medallists. ‘Cascade of
Strings’ Identical twins, Rosemary and Margaret play Paraguayan Harps, the music has an exciting sound and is light and rhythmic. ‘The O’Gara School of Irish Dance’ Teaches Irish Dancing in Didcot & Harwell for children over the age of 4 1/2 and also adults.

Cholsey Silver Band, St Mary's Church, Cholsey.
The band will be putting on a Spring Concert at 7.30pm. Tickets will be available on the door at £5 (£1 children), including refreshments. The senior band will be playing a wide selection of music, including some solo items, and the training band will also be performing.

The OX5 Run is a five mile fun run around Blenheim Palace raising money for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
